Committee Reports:

  • Membership – Cheryl – once the new member is approved Lori and Cheryl will take her out for coffee and have an orientation.
  • Fundraising –

○   Door County Candle Light up Your Support is November 1-December 16. We can hand out a rack card at HE, and members can have some to hand out. Peg will put this on Facebook. The funds raised will go to Foundation.

○   Holiday Extravaganza

■  Patti attended the Women’s Fund luncheon and got an idea for another raffle. It’s a Mystery Box raffle. A certain number of

tickets are sold for a chance to win a higher ticket item.

Discussion was held if this could be feasible this year. The big

ticket item could be an assortment of gift certificates. The item should be donated so the raffle makes the most.

■   Credit card fees? Do we charge a fee? Other organizations do charge at their events.  Discussion occurred.  It’s a lot to ask of the checkout people.  Would the auction winners be upset?  Lori Anderson made a motion that we not charge credit card fees for Holiday Extravaganza.  Cheryl Zettel seconded.  Motion approved unanimously.
